Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms – Greek olive oils sweep awards at international competitions

The company received 14 awards in the international olive oil competition

The Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms (www.bioarmonia.gr) swept the awards in three international olive oil competitions held in Italy, Germany, and Japan.

Specifically, the company received 14 awards in the international olive oil competition, EVO International Olive Oil Competition 2022, one of the most important olive oil competitions in the world with very strict evaluation standards, based on the testing methods set by the International Olive Oil Council, exclusively with the method of blind tasting.

The company’s organic and gourmet olive oils were distinguished among 750 olive oils from 32 countries.

“These very high and honorable awards for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms constitute a unique Greek achievement, in one of the most difficult competitions in the world, which is observed by the international olive oil sector every year with special attention,” the company said in a statement.

Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms also received 12 international awards for olive oils entered into a recent competition in Berlin where 870 olive oils from 30 olive-producing countries participated.

Berlin Global Olive Oil Awards 2022 is a global olive oil tasting competition with very high-quality tasting and evaluation standards, that creates a list of the top olive oils every year, the Elite Olive Oils.

To top it all off, Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms won first place in Japan Olive Oil Prize Competition 2022, in which more than 500 olive oils from 21 olive-producing countries participated. In total it received 12 awards in the specific competition.

“These two major and absolute awards, at the international Japan Olive Oil Prize 2022, complete the unique number of 475 international awards for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms worldwide, a record number for a Greek Single Estate olive producer that produces and packages exclusively their own olive products,” the Greek olive producer Giorgos Sakellaropoulos said.
