Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with Turkish tourists in Mytilene

Among 92 Turkish tourists was the deputy mayor of Ayvalik

A surprise awaited the 92 Turkish visitors to Mytilene on the Esref Zale boat this morning when they found that they were greeted at the city’s port by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Among them, the captain of the ship Ali Zale, who is the deputy mayor of the town of Aivali opposite Mytilene.

Mitsotakis was briefed on the implementation of the viza express issue and noted the speed of issuing visas to 20 of the 92 Turkish visitors who chose to have their visas issued in Mytilene rather than at the country’s consular authorities in Turkey.
