Greek police arrest terrorist and robber on most wanted list

One involved in ‘Cells of Fire’ terrorist group

Greek police arrested two men on the most wanted terrorist list in Sparta, Peloponnese, Friday. In an operation carried out in the morning hours of Friday, the anti-terrorist unit were able to apprehend Kostas Sakkas, who was charged with being part of terrorist group ‘Cells of Fire’, and Marios Seisidis, who had been on the run for 10 years and was involved in activities with the group known as ‘the robbers in black’. Sakkas had disappeared on February 10 of 2014, after he had testified to the prosecutor in January. Seihidis was on the most wanted list and had never been arrested by authorities till Friday. He had taken part in seven armed robberies from 2002 till 2006 and amassed 700,000 Euros in loot.
