The Greek-Turkish Forum (GTF) convened in Athens this week with members reviewing recent efforts for rapprochement between the two countries. The importance of communication between the two communities of Cyprus were discussed.

“Taking into consideration recent research findings which suggest that the young generation in Cyprus is not coming together as decisively as one would wish, the GTF urges both communities to give attention to measures which will encourage dialogue and interaction between the communities in general and the young generation in particular,” the announcement said.
