Greek University students have created a "turbo" race car from scratch

A one seated ergonomic and aerodynamic car which will take part in international tournaments was created by students of the Greek Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

The car will be officially unveiled on Friday the 11th of July 11 at 20:30 in D Stock at the Port of Thessaloniki, in «Village Cinemas» area.
By the name ART-14 according to the website goTHESS.gr, the unique racing car will represent Greece at the International student Formula competition
The new features of the car and its possibilities allow the team that created it to participate in European Competitions such as Student Formula in Germany, Hungary and Italy. It is the first time that a team will participate in three races this summer. Specifically, the group of the Greek Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
will compete in the following tracks.

1. Student Formula in Germany, Hockenheimring, 29 of July – 3 August 2014
2. Student Formula in Hungary, Győr, 21 – 24 of August 2014
3. Student Formula in Italy, Varano de Melegari, 29 of August – 1 September 2014

The student team of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki consists of 18 members. Since 2007, the team has participated in several races of the Formula SAE, as in Italy in 2007, in England in 2008 and 2009, in Italy in 2010, in England in 2011, in Germany and Italy in 2012, and in England 2013, and has been distinguished with many awards.
