Spyros Kopanitsas  won the Best Production Award at the International Film Festival of Madrid (Madrid International Film Festival) with his short film «Level 2». This is the second award for the Greek film director and producer, having preceded the Best Director award for the short film “Z” at the Downtown Film Festival in Los Angeles.

Born in Athens on July 14, 1988, Spyros Kopanitsas came became familiar with the productions and the world of Greek television at a very young age. Through the production company of his father, Elias Kopanitsas, he was given access to a creative and professional environment with experienced people and therefore initially dealt with handling cameras and editing.
The young director stated that”: “It is a great honor to participate in this year’s festival, especially in a city with a huge European character and story like Madrid. It happens to be the first festival for specific footage, and am honored even more for the fact that was  awarded the Best Production Award, being a very demanding and difficult production, with shooting in various locations.
