Happy end for the two window washers dangling of the World Trade Center

Safe and sound are the two window-washers which were trapped for a whole hour on a scaffold dangling off the tallest building in Western Hemisphere the World Trade Center

Fire crews finally put an end to the horrific incident and agony by cutting  through a window on the 68th floor and gently pulled the two men inside to safety.

According to fire officials the two window washers were on their way to the top of the tower when one of the motorized cables supporting the scaffold snapped or came loose.

Pictures of the scaffold dangling almost vertically off the building were breathtaking.

WNBC reported that the workers were unharmed and secure while they were trapped, while after crews cut a rough rectangle in the glass, they attached an extra harness to each

The new tower stands 1.776 feet and 104 floors.
