Immigration Minister Christodoulopoulou in another world

Government readies 2,500 positions to host immigrants….

Greece’s Deputy Immigration Minister Tasia Christodoulopoulou said that Greek authorities were planning to create 2,500 positions to host immigrants by the end of 2015. While the situation on the island of Kos is deteriorating with local authorities trying to accommodate 7,000 immigrants, and the Mayor of the island desperately calling for assistance from Athens warning that the situation could escalate into bloodshed, Christodoulopoulou, who had characterized immigrants sleeping in the streets of Athens as ‘a tourist attraction’, seemed unfazed speaking to Athens News Agency.
