ISIS to Obama: “Fighting has just begun”

The clip includes footage of fighting between the ISIS militants and the US soldiers in the Middle East and features Islamic music

In response to US President Obama’ s recent statements that his government will “degrade and destroy” the Islamic State, the terrorist group released a short video on Tuesday, threatening to retaliate if the US launches an attack against it.

The video is only one minute long and with its slow-motion scenes and quick editing, it is reminiscent of a Hollywood trailer. The clip includes footage of fighting between the ISIS militants and the US soldiers in the Middle East and features Islamic music. It also includes a shot of the “Mission Accomplished” banner that served as a backdrop on a famous George W. Bush speech, followed by shots of Obama himself.

In the last seconds of the clip, the words “Flames of War” appear, along with the phrase “Fighting has just begun”. Then, the clip ends with the words “Coming Soon.”
It should be noted that the video was released by the al-Hayat Media Centre, the same information channel that released the videos of the beheadings of western prisoners by ISIS.
