Information on the event, however, is widely conjectured since international news agencies speak of an unknown woman, strapped with explosives, who was shot down by Police.

There are rumors of injuries as well, but this is also not verified.

Daily Sabah states that a man opened fired against the gate of the Headquarters while a woman tried to detonate the explosives vest strapped to her body.

The man was apprehended shortly thereafter.

Both perpetrators had a German passport, according to officials.
