Secretary of state John Kerry met Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif in New York City to talk about the threat of ISIS and find a way to deal with the extremist group.

Their discussion was also focused on the prospects of reaching an agreement so as to reduce Tehran’s atomic activities in exchange for an end to nuclear-related sanctions, said an American diplomat.
