The Foundation’s endeavors are slated to align with progressive values, with its formation inspired by the electoral outcomes of the European elections, underscored by the surge of Far-Right ideologies. Former Prime Minister and President of SYRIZA PS, Alexis Tsipras, had long forewarned about the ascension of Far-Right influences, emphasizing their potential impediment to cohesive collaboration among progressive factions. The debut of the Alexis Tsipras Institute for Peace and Sustainable Development is scheduled for the forthcoming Monday, coinciding with the inaugural International Conference on Peace and Sustainable Development. Moreover, this Thursday, the Parliamentary Group of SYRIZA PS is slated to convene at 5:30 in the evening for an initial evaluation of the election results.
