According to the county’s military, five Lebanese soldiers were killed during bloody clashes with armed fighters in eastern Lebanon.

The same military announcement speaks of Lebanese soldiers also repulsing another attack by fighters, on a military outpost on the eastern border of the country with Syria.

In accordance with the announcement of the Lebanese army there are many victims of the side of armed fighters, however the exact number is not specified.
