Lipsi Greece: The video clip-invite for Easter on the Dodecanese island

The rapper “Michalaras” together with the mayor of Lipsi Fotis Magos joined their voices in a special musical song

With an original video clip the Municipality of Lipsi chose to address the public for holidays on the island in spring and Easter.

The rapper “Michalaras” together with the mayor of Lipsi, Fotis Maggo, joined their voices in a special music song entitled “Come with me to Lipsi”, which merges the traditional music with rap.

“The idea came about after a chance meeting on the island last summer when we were inspired by the sea and composed lyrics and music together. We wanted to show that when the authentic merges with the modern, something unique and original is created,” said Magos.

The video clip of the song “takes” the audience to the sustainable paradise of the Dodecanese with images and shots of the enchanting beaches, the picturesque village, the alternative activities and the 24 exotic islands. “It proves that the unpretentious always remains relevant and sought after.

Our successive ecological and sustainable initiatives in recent years have created a model tourism development model that brings measurable results.

For 2023, Lipsi has set a record in terms of visitor numbers with travellers enjoying authentic travel experiences and modern tourism services at reasonable prices.

The momentum building for the new season is equally strong with travellers’ intentions to visit expanding well before and after July and August,” the mayor added.

It should be noted that the new music track is already being promoted by a record company and is a continuation of the municipality’s strategy that began three years ago with the interpretation of a timeless Italian song and the shooting of a video clip on the island, an action that was then well received by the Italian public and even highlighted by the popular newspaper La Repubblica.
