Car racing is arguably the most stressful and demanding sport in the world. The drivers are put under incredible physical and psychological pressures. And when we are talking about the pinnacle of car racing competition, Formula One, one can only imagine the levels of pressure and stress involved for the pilots in the cockpit. It requires incredible concentration and nerves of steel. Kimi Raikkonen is in fact nicknamed ‘The Ice man’ for his cool head under the immense stress that comes with a ‘day at the office’. You would expect the 36-year old Finn, with an F-1 title under his belt (2007), and 235 entries to have become accustomed to the risks ever present on the track and take all the pressure in his stride. But even the ‘Ice man’ can sometimes let his tempers flow over.
