A major blast at the center of Turkey’s Diyarbakir on Tuesday killed at least three people and wounded more than 22.
According to information, the explosion was the result of a car bomb attack targeting a group of police officers near the center of the southeastern city of Diyarbakir, Turkey, a security source told Reuters.
The blast damaged several nearby buildings, while no organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Diyarbakir has seen a significant amount of violence during the past months, after Turkey launched an offensive against the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
