Manchester United pushing to sign Greek goalkeeper of Benfica Vlachodimos

As reported by “O Jogo”, the “Reds” wish to acquire Odysseas Vlachodimos and Gonzalo Ramos

Manchester United is likely to push for the signature of Benfica goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos in the summer of 2023. The Red Devils want to sign a new goalkeeper and would love to have the Greece international at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag likes Fati and Osimen quite a lot, but there are reportedly two more players on the list of the Dutch manager of Manchester United.

As reported by “O Jogo”, the “Reds” wish to acquire Odysseas Vlachodimos and Gonzalo Ramos.

According to the “Manchester Evening News”, the Greek international goalkeeper of Benfica is high on the transfer list, while he has a contract with the Lisbon team only until 2024.

At the same time, Gonzalo Ramos is one of the options to cover the departure of Anthony Martial.

Manchester United, under Erik Ten Hag, looks like a completely different team. They have been doing great in the ongoing season. But, there are a few major issues that he would like to address in the summer. The goalkeeper’s position is something that he would want to strengthen.

While Manchester United do have David de Gea as their number one, ten Hag would still prefer having someone who can challenge the Spanish goalkeeper for a spot in the XI. De Gea has not been the same for the past few years. He still is one of the best shot-stoppers but tends to make quite a few errors.

Ten Hag has a vision in mind where wants to win big titles with Manchester United. And, for that to happen he needs to bring in a lot of players and set a benchmark. The Manchester United boss believes that the German-born goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos can be a perfect fit for the club.
