National Bank of Greece CEO Louka Katselli said in a statement to private Mega TV on Monday that “it is not in the interest of any bank to proceed with home foreclosures, while underlining that each bank wants to keep tis clients informed. She underlined that no bank will sell loans to foreign funds, explaining that banks in 2016 are not the same as banks in 2010. She ensured that loan holders with non-performing laons would find a solution in cooperation with the banks.

Katselli expressed optimism that capital controls would be lifted in 2016, adding that Greeks have started to gradually return their deposits to banks.
