Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis ruled out the possibility of the conservative New Democracy leadership of accepting fascist Golden Dawn’s (GD) support. He made his comments on Wednesday when asked to talk about how the GD may affect the result of the third round of voting for the election of Stavros Dimas as Greek President.

“Don’t even think about it!” said Mr. Mitsotakis, speaking to private TV channel MEGA TV. “There will be New Democracy deputies who will not vote for a President of Golden Dawn does.”

He added that he refuses to join forces with the Golden Dawn. “My vote will not contribute to the legitimization of Golden Dawn through the presidential elections,” he said, stating his opinion that he would not be the only one to do so.
