ND parliamentary group meets on Thursday

The conservatives are to look at their party’s future following the snap elections on January 25 that saw a drop in the party’s popularity

New Democracy leader Antonis Samaras is chairing a meeting of the conservative party’s parliamentary gruop at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Parliament.

On the agenda are issues concerning the party’s strategy. Deputies will assess the election results and evaluate the direction the party’s performance.

Sources state that MPs will raise the issue of an extraordinary party congress.

The party’s political committee is due to meet on Sunday.
