Antonis Samaras slammed the current government over its stance when SYRIZA was main opposition

New Democracy parliamentary working group decided on Thursday to vote in principle against the prior actions to be discussed in the parliament for the conclusion of the Greek program review.

“New Democracy will vote in principle against the prior actions, which are elaborated in 7,000 pages,” ND spokesman George Koumoutsakos said adding: the parth “will vote against the new taxes included in the bill tabled in parliament. It will also examine the individual tax reliefs. And it is also negative to the issue of the contingency mechanism as well as the new Hellenic asset development fund.”

Mr. Koumoutsakos also said that the main opposition is against the lifting of protection of first residence.

However, party’s MPs will vote certain privatisations such as the 14 airports as well as structural reforms.

During the discussion of the party, former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras slammed the current government over its stance when SYRIZA was main opposition saying that “the current prime minister will soon meet his nemesis” adding that “Alexis Tsipras signs everything he used to condemned”.
