CCTV footage showing the three bomber attackers at Brussels airport before the explosion was released by Belgian police.

According to the authorities the video has been released in an effort to identify the third man responsible for the deadly attack in Belgian capital’s airport, also known as “the terrorist with the hat”.

According to Belgian media, the man with the hat has been identified by the Belgian authorities, without, though, making any official announcements. As the same sources claim, the third man seen walking next to Ibrahim el Bakraoui and Nazim Lachraoui is believed to be Faycal Cheffou.

Cheffou, who has been arrested since Friday, was working as a freelance reporter and appeared in Belgium newscasts.

Cheffou was known about his extremist opinions and his propaganda in favour of Islamic State.

According to Le Soir, a taxi driver who took the terrorist to the airport identified him as Faycal Cheffou.

Cheffou has been charged with “involvement in a terrorist group, terrorist killings and attempted terrorist killings”.
