Obama: Looking forward working with the new Congress

US president commented on the mid-term election results by saying that “Obviously the Republicans had a good night”

“I hear you. Even the two-thirds of voters who chose not to participate in yesterday’s  process , I hear you as well “, said the US President in his speech introduction.

“Americans want those elected to get the job done”, he added.

“During his speech Barack Obama stated that he is “Looking forward working with the new Congress towards two productive years”.

Following the overwhelming results the US president commented that “Obviously the Republicans had a good night”.

“We are not just a collection of blue and red states. we are the United States”, stressed the US president in an attempt to emphasize that from hereafter there should be a minimum of cooperation between the bodies that control the Republicans and himself.

Further, Barack Obama added that : “It is time to act and regularize our jobs. There are things to be done and cannot wait for another two or four years”.
