Thousands of Pakistanis participated in a protest against the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on Thursday. The rally condemned a front-page caricature portraying the Prophet Mohamed, the founder of Islam, carrying a sign in support to the magazine, in the wake of a terrorist attack by two Islamist radicals that left 12 people dead at the magazine’s offices.
It was the biggest ever protest against Charlie Hebdo in Pakistan since the Paris attack on Jan. 7.
