PM A. Tsipras meets with Distomo survivor from WWII (video)

A. Sfountouris, just a child when his family was slaughtered, seeks justice for the tragedy

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is meeting with Argyris Sfountouris, a survivor of the Distomo massacre, at 4 p.m. on Monday. Sfountouris was four years old when his father and thirty of his relatives were killed by Germans. For the last twenty years he has been waiting for justice to be served. 

His story became widely known after he apeared on the ZDF satirical program. He explained his memories of the tragic incidents of June 10, 1944, when the SS slaughtered his entire family.
