Telephone contacts on the refugee issue

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras had a telephone meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann to discuss the refugee issue late on Sunday.

Tsipras also spoke with Cyprus’ President Nicos Anastasiades and decided to be in constant contact ahead of a possible EU-Turkey summit on the refugee issue.
