Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a telephone conversation with the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, on Thursday..

Constructive discussion with @SecBlinken. Greece and the U.S. continue our close coordination as NATO Allies against Russia’s unprovoked military attacks on Ukraine.

— Prime Minister GR (@PrimeministerGR) April 21, 2022

According to government sources, the discussion focused on the situation in Ukraine and ways to provide practical support to the Ukrainians.

Greece is reminded that it had assisted with defense equipment and the Americans are making every effort to support the Ukrainians in the new phase of Russia’s attack on the Eastern Front.
