Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis made an extraordinary statement after his return from the scene of the tragedy in Tempi, Larissa. Mitsotakis spoke about the unspeakable pain of the relatives of the victims and the missing. I was asked “why”, he pointed out, and was told, “never again” by the relatives.

He also referred to the resignation of Kostas Karamanlis and announced his replacement, until the elections, by Giorgos Gerapetritis, while making it known that the heads of OSE and ERGOSE also resigned.
