Today’s Greece can serve as India’s gateway to Europe,” emphasized Kyriakos Mitsotakis from New Delhi, at the inaugural session of the annual “Raisina Dialogue” conference.

“I tell our Indian friends that we are the natural gateway to Europe and beyond,” he stated.

“Greece is doing well, and we invite Indian businesses to join us on this journey,” was the Prime Minister’s message.

Mr. Mitsotakis spoke about the excellent bilateral relations between Greece and India, stating that the two countries share the same values and are closer than ever.

“You are an example for the world that needs to be known,” he said, referring to India, highlighting its strong economic growth, solidarity, and prosperity, among other things.

“Today, India is a global power, a leading player,” he added, emphasizing that strengthening EU-India relations should be a primary goal for Europe and stating that it is a central goal for Greece.

He also mentioned that the two countries share many similarities and values, and he referred to reforms.
