Prime Minister Antonis Samaras attended on Thursday evening the first impressive concert of the musical ensembles of New Greek Radio, Internet and Television (NERIT) broadcaster, held on the occasion of the anniversary of 40 years since the reinstatement of democracy.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by his wife Georgia.

The event took place at Pnyx hill and attracted large crowds.

Samaras was impressed by the performance of the ensembles and many of the hundreds of citizens and tourists who also attended the event, rushed to greet him and talk with him.

The event was presented by the artistic director of NERIT’s musical ensembles Nikos Xanthoulis while NERIT’s president Antonis Makridimitris addressed the event.
