PM Samaras: We are all Charlie Hebdos

Every sober country should brace itself against terrorism and Greece is defiantly one of them – SYRIZA is the typification of the drachma lobby

Mr. Antonis Samaras began his speech at the Maroussi gymnasium with a message of optimism that ND will win the elections.

“With gatherings like today’s we will sweep them of their feet”, said characteristically Mr. Samaras and added that “the party is optimistic and the battle will be won. We will win because we believe in Europe”.

Furthermore the Greek Prime Minister referred to the actions of the government: “Most importantly we kept our promise to the Greek people and Greece did not leave the European Union. We further promised that we will emerge from the memorandum, we got a primary surplus and we will exit of the memorandum a year early. Despite recession and memorandums we managed to make tax cuts and reduce VAT on heating oil. And all that during very hard times. Now that the country entered the recovery we will do even more. We even imposed reforms that nobody believed. We created eGovernment while reducing bureaucracy and corruption and made the procedures easier for businesses to start. There are hundreds of new business plans waiting for the political uncertainty to leave in order to became reality and create new jobs”.

Moreover, Mr. Samaras committed that there will be no more further reductions in pensions and income.

Yet, Mr. Samaras launched a new attack against SYRIZA and accused the left party of “breaking the agreement with partners and making an exit from the Memorandum”

In conclusion, the Prime Minister appeared confident that the majority of the people will punish the minority of MPs who dragged the country in elections they didn’t wanted.
