PM Tsipras and President of Hellenic Republic express their condolences for the dead in the terrorist attack

PM expressed the solidarity of the Greek people to the people of Turkey

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras contacted by phone his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu to express his sincere condolences for the death of dozens of people in the terrorist attack in Turkey.

The Greek Prime Minister condemned the terrorist act and expressed the solidarity of the Greek people to the people of Turkey, in these difficult hours.

Mr. Tsipras stressed the support of Greece to the resumption of peace talks on the issue of Kurdistan, despite the serious difficulties facing.
Also, the President of Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos condemned the terrorist attack in Ankara, in a phone contact with the Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.

Mr. Pavlopoulos asked the Turkish President to forward the deep sorrow and condolences of the Greek people to the families of the victims stating that “despite any differences between the two countries, nothing separates them in the struggle against terrorism.”
