Self-styled anarchists want the government to ban mamixum security prisons and to release convicted terrorist Savvas Xiros due to health reasons

The roughly 100 people gathered at a rally tried enter the building to join a smaller group of “comrades” that have occupied the premises for more than two weeks.

The building’s occupation is amongst the most prominent protests over the past month by self-styled anarchists and anti-establishment activists around Greece, aimed to abolish a series of laws related to urban terrorism and hooliganism, such as the “hoodie” law, for instance.
