Potami leader: Government should appoint SYRIZA deputy ministers

In all ministries that are involved in negotiations with the Troika of the country’s lenders

Potami party leader Stavros Theodorakis who is currently in the city of Patras suggested on Sunday that the government should appoint deputy ministers from main opposition SYRIZA party in all ministries that are involved in negotiations with the Troika of the country’s lenders.

Mr. Theodorakis justified this unorthodox suggestion by pointing out that all issues concerning Greece’s public debt and the country’s relations with Europe will not be solved in a few months.

“These are long-term issues,” the Potami leader said, and therefore any negotiation must involve the party that won the European elections, i.e. SYRIZA.
