PPC unions: We will continue fighting

The government spokesperson stated that “in democratic countries laws and judicial decisions should be respected by all citizens”

The worker unions of PPC decided to continue fighting within reasonable limits and argued that their strike did not break any law and did not cause any problems as far as the electrification of the areas is concerned.

They also mentioned that the government abolished the constitutional right to strike by proceeding to civil mobilization of the PPC employees and added:

“GENOP-PPC and its unions did not break the law, did not show lack of social sensitivity and there was no problem in electrification of the areas, as it is revealed by the court decision which will be published.”

The government spokesperson stated that “in democratic countries laws and judicial decisions should be respected by all citizens and the public interest comes always first.”
