Alternate Education Minister Tasos Kourakis late on Monday announced the start of public dialogue on the new university entrance system. He said that dialogue will be with all parties regarding all aspects of the education system.

“The building of trust and cooperation between the state and the education community, together with the continued free teacher training and democratic reconstruction of education constitute a safe condition for the success of our efforts,” he said.

Kourakis also announced the suspension of the controversial planned teachers’ evaluation system and its replacement with another system assessing the educational work.
