Public transport on 24-hour strike in Athens on Thursday

Employees at the tram, urban railway, busses and trolleys will hold work stoppages

Athens public transport will participate in the 24-hour strike called by Greece’s two biggest unions, GSEE and ADEDY, leaving Athens with no metro, suburban railway and trains on November 12.

Employees at the tram, urban railway, busses and trolleys will hold work stoppages: The urban railway and tram will not operate from the start of the shift until 10.00 (local time) and from 16.00 until the end of the shift, while busses and trolleys will not operate from 05.00 until 09.00 and from 21.00 until the end of the shift.
