Putin accuses Ukrainians of using civilians as human shields

He said the Ukrainian army was blocking the passage of the refugees out of the war zone

Newsroom March 3 07:32

Russian President Vladimir Putin made statements about the war in Ukraine this afternoon, accusing the Ukrainians of employing ultranationalist propaganda and using innocent citizens as human shields.

Speaking in high tones, Putin claimed the Ukrainians were preventing civilians from fleeing the war zones. “Only Nazis fight like that,” he said, adding that Ukrainians were shooting civilians trying to flee the war zone with snipers. He added that the Russian army had opened safe passages for the refugees to leave.

The Russian president also stressed that there are foreign mercenaries fighting on the side of the Ukrainians, while he clarified in all directions that “Russia is not threatened even by nuclear weapons.”
