Russia’s strongman is in love and did not hesitate to reveal it during a press conference which took place on Thursday!

The Russian president, who was declared “Man of the Year”, in Russia, for the 15th consecutive time, surprised the audience during an interview given before the end of the year, admitting that “he is in love”, that he loves a woman who has the same feelings for him!

How did all this exactly come to pass? It all started when a reporter asked him if he has time for a personal life. Putin began recounting a conversation he had with a European friend, “a great leader”, as he said. He stated that a European friend, a great leader asked him if he was in love. Putin replied that he does, indeed, love someone. The European leader asked him if the feelings are reciprocated and Putin replied “Yes”.

Putin told the then entertained journalists that all fares well, and not to worry. However, the Russian president, who divorced his wife after 30 years of marriage in April 2013, did not reveal the identity of the woman who has “stolen” his heart, although rumors say that it is Russian beauty and former Olympic gymnastics champion Alina Kabaeva.

Even though Putin’s personal life is a “Taboo” matter for the Russian press, Moscovski Korrespondent newspaper hinted in 2008 that Putin got secretly divorced to marry Kabaeva.

Rumors flared even more when the Olympian was promoted to “czarina” within the huge group of pro-government media National Media Group.
