RIP Jack Horner… composer of Titanic’s My Heart Will Go On (video)

James Horner leaves behind his haunting music scores, a legacy in their own right

Oscar-winning composer James Horner, aged 61, died in a plane crash in California. The two-seater plane registered in Horner’s name crashed in near Santa Barbara in South California on Monday. The death was confirmed by the composer’s assistant Sylvia Patrycja on his Facebook page. She wrote:

“He died doing what he loved. Thank you for all your support and love and see you down the road.”

Horner wrote the music scores of Titanic, Fields of Dreams, Braveheart and was the recipient of two Academy Awards.
