In 2013, young Ryan McHenry from Glasgow made a Vine video series called “Ryan Gosling won’t eat his cereal”, in which he tried to feed the Hollywood star on the screen, a spoon of cereal. The videos went viral but were quickly forgotten through the Internet’s wheel of time.

McHenry never got what he wanted from Goslin. The 27 year old lost a two-year battle with cancer, and his death moved his Vine followers who pressured Gosling to eat his cereal.

Gosling responded to the call and Vined himself eating his cereal, dedicating it to the deceased. He Tweeted his condolences to the 27 year-old’s family.
