Mr. Samaras and Mr. Venizelos will have a meeting today in order to find the middle ground and put an end to the conflict

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras will meet Vice-President Evangelos Venizelos today in an attempt to find a solution regarding the disputes arose due to the evaluation of the employees in public sector.

According to information, the two government partners will attempt to pour oil on troubled waters since during the last days there are serious disagreements within the government, but also to prevent any new intense disagreements such as the one expressed by Minister of Administrative Reform Kyriakos Mitsotakis who reacted when the plan for the evaluation of the employees in public sector was questioned.

The disputes arose between Mr. Mitsotakis and PASOK created the conditions for a major government crisis, which all members of the government want to avoid.

Therefore, Mr. Samaras and Mr. Venizelos will have a meeting today in order to find the middle ground and put an end to this conflict.

PASOK insists that corrective interventions should be done in the system and particularly in the regulation on the negative score of at least 15% of the rated employees at each organizational unit of the government.

However, Mr. Mitsotakis defends the application of the law and reminded that both coalition parties voted it a few months ago.
