Say 'Greeeeeece!' by Die Zeit wants readers' impressions, pics from Grecian holiday

Weekly direct ferry boat routes from Bari to Ionian isles commence

Say “Greeeeeece!” is the German daily Die Zeit’s campaign focusing on the east Mediterranean country this summer season, which despite whatever crisis-related negative publicity appears to be one of 2015’s hottest tourism destinations.
According to the German daily, “Despite the political difficulties, Greece this summer is well worth a visit. Are you going? Or were you just there? Then send us a postcard!”
The paper dismisses any concerns a German tourist might have — there are none, only top-notch hospitality — and accentuates all of the positives that the country with innumerable Aegean and Ionian islands has to offer.

Ferry boat link with Bari

Meanwhile, a ferry boat linking Bari, Italy with a couple of Ionian holiday islands arrived at Zakynthos’ (Zante) port on Tuesday, carrying 138 passengers and 15 vehicles. Earlier, the vessel had docked at the port of Sami, on nearby Cephallonia (Kefallonia) island, bringing 195 passengers and 53 vehicles.
The ferry boat “Bari”, operated by Ventouris Ferries, will dock every Tuesday in Zakynthos, with another vessel servicing the same route on Mondays, beginning in early August for the remainder of the summer “high season”.
