Scottish dancing in the highlands of Glyfada (video)

Put on your kilts and get ready for a Scottish night of dance!

The Saint Andrew’s Society of Athens is planning a Scottish Dance Night at 7 p.m. on Friday December 5. The event is taking place at La Litharitsia Tavern (42 Gounari Street. Ano Glyfada).

The evening offers Scottish dancing for everyone, even total beginners and children too. Dances will be taught prior to each song. Food and drink is also available at his event.

Entrance is at 3 euros per adult and 2 euros per child to cover the cost of the DJ. To attend, call Mrs. Frederiki on 210-961 9193 and 210 961 6126.

Free Scottish Dancing Sessions
On the 1st Wednesday of every month (unless otherwise adised), at 8.30 p.m., usually, but not always, at the St. Catherine’s British Embassy School (73 Sofokli Venizelou Street, Lykovrissi) there are free Scottish dance sessions. Everyone is welcome.
