Sept. 4 is the day for wild ‘n’ reckless breaking of sexual taboos!

Find out why today is the day to talk freely and openly about sex

World Sexual Health Day was instituted on September 4, 2010, in an effort to generate discussion on issues considered taboo. It is hoped that in this way social awareness will be increased and sexual health will be promoted as an attainable and inalienable right.

25 countries have joined in the celebrations since the day was first begun… from Mexico to Venezuela, Argentina to Austria. Though recent studies have dubbed Greece the most virile nation of their own, the country is particularly silent when it comes to Sexual Health.

Regardless of planned events, its never wrong to use the occasion for sexual exploration and greater awareness of the benefits, pleasures and rights to sex.

Happy World Sexual Health Day everyone!
