Shipping Minister Varvitsiotis rings the NYSE Closing Bell

In honor of the 10th Annual Greek Day and the annual Capital Link Greek Investor Forum

In honor of the 10th Annual Greek Day and the annual Capital Link Greek Investor Forum, the NYSE Closing Bell was rung yesterday, December 3, by the Minister of Shipping and Maritime Affairs & The Aegean of Greece, Miltiadis Varvitsiotis.

Mr. Varvitsiotis was accompanied by representatives from the Greek Delegation including Alternate Minister of Finance, Christos Staikouras and Deputy Minister of Energy, Asimakis Papageorgiou as well as executives from Capital Link.

The event took place in the framework of the 16th annual Capital Link forum on Greece entitled “Investing for Growth.”

CEO of NYSE John Merell welcomed the members of the Greek delegation and praised Greece for its economic potential and also for its beauty as a country.
