Slovenian and Lithuanian leaders leave summit – A deal may be coming

One thorny issue remains, according to the first departures

* Slovenian PM Miro Cerar left the European Council early, but has authorized Dutch PM Mark Rutte to represent him. In his tweets, he reports to “one open issue left”. Reports point to Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’ failure to oust IMF supervision from the bailout offer – one of the two thorny issues for Tsipras. It is believed that the last issue on the table is a demand for privatization.

* Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite followed her Slovenian counterpart out of the summit. She said that there is “almost, almost” a deal.
