Sculptor Sophia Vari’s work is on display at the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation’s Museum of Contemporary Art on the Cycladic island of Andros.
The exhibition will last from June 29th to September 28th, 2014.
The 73-year-old jetsetting Greek artist is married to famous Colombian sculptor Fernando Botero but says she’s Greek from top to toe. The display shows the various transformations of form and concept that the artist has conceived.
According to the Museum’s official site, the exhibition hopes to make manifest the manifold transformations of form and concept that the artist ingeniously invents and gives shape to through her sustained and highly original dialogue with form.
