Strikes and work stoppages in trains

24-hour strike on July 12

The railway unions have declared a 24-hour strike for next Tuesday, July 12 for both the suburban and main railways. Meanwhile, workers have decided to proceed with 3-hour work stoppages until Monday, July 12. These stoppages will tale place in the early hours, midday and the hight shifts. All scheduled suburban train routes in Athens, Thessaloniki and Patra and routes to Athens international airport ‘Eleftherios Venizelos’ will be cancelled. The union workers are protesting the privatisation of the TRAINOSE and EESSTY.
