Syria: Over 200 strikes in the last 36 hours

Government opponents estimate that they are trying to take advantage of the American raids to the Islamic State, so they can attack other groups of Syrian opposition

According to an announcement of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Syrian Air Force have launched more than 200 strikes across the country in the last 36 hours.

Government opponents estimate that they are trying to take advantage of the American raids to the Islamic State, so they can  attack other groups of Syrian opposition, including those supported by Washington.

Analysts support that the air strike enforcement of the Syrian air force aims to weaken the opposition groups before they receive training and equipment from the USA.

According to the Observatory, since Sunday midnight Syrian air force has unleashed at least 210 raids in the provinces of eastern, western and northern Syria, with many victims without however stating the exact amount.

Non-governmental organization sources reveal that the Syrian army has focused in the west, stretching from the southwest to Damascus and to the Mediterranean.

In the meantime, today Jihadists gained ground in the city of Deir ez-Zor, while noted their first victory in almost two months.
